Alia, Karan promote Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'

Akshay Kumar has received good wishes for his latest release Toilet: Ek Prem Katha from a rather unexpected quarter.

"Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" is among 2017's highest opening day box-office grosses and is also among the few films to cross the 10-crore mark on the first day.

It has now come to light that Toilet - Ek Prem Katha is doing well even on Saturday [Day 2] and has registered around 20-25% growth.

The film has released in 2900- 3000 screens in India and 590 screens in overseas. The film is a remake of award winning Tamil movie "Joker" which was released in 2016. The film starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, the film also featuring Sana Khan and veteran actor Anupam Kher.
