Suddenly Bruce Willis Is Part Of The 'Alt-Right' Too Now

Suddenly Bruce Willis Is Part Of The 'Alt-Right' Too Now

The original 1974 version of Death Wish (which was based on a 1972 novel by Brian Garfield) was extremely controversial at the time it was released, but it wasn't billed as fun. Granted some could argue the same for Bruce Willis, the man who has since landed the lead, but I believe he's capable of toeing that line.

Director Eli Roth, perhaps best known for his early, bloody horror films Cabin Fever and Hostel, has not yet commented on the backlash to his film's new trailer. With the police overloaded with crimes, he vigilantly hunts his family's assailants to deliver justice.

Actually, the idea of rebooting the Death Wish franchise is something Hollywood has been kicking around for a while now. I wanted to bring Bruce back to that Fifth Element, Unbreakable, Die Hard glory and have him craft another iconic performance, and I really think he did it. What's interesting about "Death Wish" is it's not a Central Intelligence Agency guy who's coming out of retirement, you know, he's not John Wick, he's not a professional assassin. "The fun is watching him go insane and watching someone slowly move the moral goal post". The remake co-stars Vincent D'Onofrio, Dean Norris, Kimberly Elise, and Mike Epps. It stars Willis as Dr. Paul Kersey, an emergency room surgeon in Chicago whose wife and college-age daughter are viciously attacked in their suburban home.

Senate Republicans Help Kill GOP's Obamacare Repeal Bill
The bill is modeled on 2015 legislation that was passed by both chambers before being vetoed by then-President Obama. Seven Republicans, however, bucked leadership and refused to support the proposal without a ready replacement.

Death Wish will shoot its way into theaters on November 22nd, 2017.

It seems like we always get hit with Death Wish sequels or pseudo-remakes in years ending in the number seven.
