Sanders says Trump joking about police brutality

President Donald Trump personally "dictated" a misleading statement about his son's meeting with a Russian lawyer past year that said they primarily "discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children", The Washington Post reported Monday, a move experts say could put the White House at fresh legal risk.

During Tuesday's White House press briefing, ABC News' Cecilia Vega asked freshly promoted press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders about that time Donald Trump goofed around and told an audience of cops to be more physically aggressive toward suspects.

President Donald Trump personally dictated a misleading statement in which his son Donald Trump Jr said a meeting with a Russian lawyer during the 2016 election was focused on adoptions, The Washington Post reported Monday.

In the statement, Trump Jr. claimed he had met with a Russian lawyer to "primarily discussed a program about the adoption of Russian children".

Goldstone told Trump Jr. that a "Russian government attorney" - Veselnitskaya - would be presenting the Clinton dirt during the Trump Tower meeting.

Some advisers worry that Trump's action could spell legal jeopardy, the Post reported.

Their initial inaccurate response proved to be incredibly damaging as the full, accurate details about the meeting and its participants trickled out.

Xiaomi and Huawei, two of China's biggest domestic manufacturers, accounted for more than 29 percent of the market a year ago . It is a social media application developed by local tech giant Tencent.

"The president certainly didn't dictate but, you know, he weighed in, offered suggestions like any father would do", Sanders continued, adding that Trump Jr.'s meeting with the Russian lawyer was "of no outcome".

Trump made the statement before law enforcement officers at Suffolk County Community College, in a speech blasting other presidents for being lax on immigration policy.

"This was.unnecessary", one of the president's advisors told the Washington Post, anonymously.

The younger Trump's lawyer said he has "no evidence to support" the "theory" that Trump was involved in writing the statement.

Mueller's team reportedly demonstrated great interest in both the meeting and the White House's role in covering it up.

The discussions among the president's advisers consumed much of the day, and they continued as they prepared to board Air Force One that evening for the flight home.

"The president did not draft the response, the response came from Donald Trump Jr., I'm sure in consultation with his lawyer", Sekulow promised to CNN's Jake Tapper. The much deeper motive behind Trump's personal involvement is his obsession with killing the Russian Federation scandal. "There can be a legitimate allegation that there was an attempt to misled and the special counsel can say 'I want to know why'". I asked Jared and Paul to stop by.
