Commenting on her future at the global cricket, the 34-year-old skipper said: "As a player you want to continue but it all boils down to fitness and form".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was presented with a signed bat by the Indian women's cricket team that recently participated in the ICC Women's World Cup and brought laurels to the country.

Every Indian is feeling proud of the performance of the women¿s cricket team.

The players were felicitated by Fadnavis at Vidhan Bhawan.

"From Rio Olympics to Paralympics and in games like hockey, wrestling, badminton, and now the splendid performance in the Women's World Cup, Indian women are leading the way in the global sporting arena".

The Telangana government has announced a cash prize of Rs 1 crore and a house plot for skipper Mithali Raj. Both girls, however, were not part of the squad that played the final against England.Talking about her happiest memory from the tournament, Mansi said, "It was a high point for me to field in the match against defending champion Australia".
