Twenty-five people have been injured at a night club in the U.S. state of Arkansas during a potential gang fight shooing.

The incident, about 1 mile east of the state Capitol, appears to be the result of a dispute among clubgoers and was not terror-related, authorities said.

"One is too many", Mr Buckner said.

"A promotional video with a gun on the front cover inviting people to a concert ... should also be totally unacceptable in our community", Stodola said at an afternoon news conference.

The shooting, that last 11 seconds and set patrons screaming and running for the exits, capped a violent week in Arkansas' largest city.

"I'm sick of all the killing and I'm exhausted of all the shooting". We need to be very careful with our words", Buckner said, adding "this is a blip on the map that we certainly didn't need, considering the history that we've had over the past week. "We all come with one motive at the end of the day, and that's to have fun".

The club was hosting a concert by the hip-hop artist Finese 2Tymes on Friday night, according to the club's Facebook page.
