Murray pulls out of Hurlingham

Murray was set to play two matches at this week's Hurlingham Classic before he made a decision to skip the exhibition event due to a sore hip.

Even if he's healthy enough to play at Wimbledon, his lack of preparation on grass prior to the event is a concern.

A sore hip has caused Murray to pull out of two exhibition matches at Hurlingham this week and the world number one was seen struggling through three hours of practice at the All England Club on Friday.

"Sadly I won't be ready to play at The Hurlingham tomorrow", said Murray in a statement.

Modi and Trump: the beginning of another handsome friendship?
Instead, the role of the Indian American community and Indian students in supporting United States jobs came in for praise. Trump signed an executive order in April for tightening the rules of the H-1B visa programme to stop "visa abuses".

World No.3 Stan Wawrinka - overwhelmed by Nadal in the French Open final - has never reached the last four at Wimbledon and hence he has been seeded fifth. When the Wimbledon main draw begins Monday, Murray will have had just one competitive match under his belt in a little over a month. "I'm midway through my practice".

Murray hopes the weather will improve and he will be able to return to Hurlingham and play his second exhibition match but whatever happens, he will be opening play as tradition decrees on Monday on the Centre Court at Wimbledon as the reigning champion.

The pressure Andy Murray feels at Wimbledon actually helps him concentrate better, the defending champion has said.

Nonetheless, at the back of Murray's mind will be what happened at the Queen's Club at the start of last week, when he lost in straight sets to Jordan Thompson, the World No 90. I thought past year was more hard because in two weeks we didn't finish one practice on our own terms.
