Two Georgia inmates who are as "dangerous beyond description" and wanted in connection with the deaths of two guards on a prison bus remained on the run early Wednesday as reward money for information leading to their arrests continued to grow.

Authorities are now conducting a nationwide search for Ricky Dubose and Donnie Rowe.

Dubose and Rowe hijacked a Honda Civic that was recovered Wednesday afternoon in a wooded area off US 441, not far from a burglary where the men changed out of their prison uniforms and ransacked a house. Later the prisoners stole a white Ford F-250 from a locked quarry at approximately 11 p.m. These are serious, risky hoodlums that need to be apprehended, ' Sills said. David LeValley, agent in charge of the FBI's Atlanta office, told reporters that "we are expanding, not shrinking, our effort to find these individuals".

He said the focus now was tracking them down and offering compassion to the families of the corrections officers, killed in the line of duty. Billue, 58, a 10-year employee, is survived by his father, brother and sister, Georgia Department of Corrections Commissioner Greg Dozier said. We know they took food there. 31 other prisoners were on board the bus and they all stayed behind until officers arrived on scene. Police say they attempted to stop the risky duo after spotting a vehicle they believed the two were in.

After their bloody jailbreak, the two convicts were spotted in the town of Madison where they broke into a house and helped themselves to clothes that would make them less noticeable.
