Forecasters for the National Weather Service are predicting cooler and showery weather for the next handful of days. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected, and the low will be around 51. NE Winds 10 to 15 miles per hour becoming south southwest in the afternoon.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms develop, with a high temperature of 86 degrees.

Forecasters predicted a high of 77 degrees for Monday, with lows remaining mostly in the 50s throughout the week.

Scattered showers or thunderstorms could move into our area from the west or northwest Thursday into Friday. Highs ahead of the front should make it into the low to mid 80s.

Rain is most likely after 4 p.m., meteorologists predict. Cloudy, with a high near 67. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 53.
