CNN fires comedian after Trump stunt

"It just shows the anger people have towards @BarackObama", Trump tweeted in April 2012.

Many conservatives believe left-leaning Hollywood has two standards - one for Democrats who always are victims, and another for conservatives who get what's coming to them.

The simmering feud between Trump and O'Donnell goes back years, and the president recently reignited the fuse with a tweet directed at the comic, and citing her call for the firing of Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey, after Trump did in fact fire him. "I sincerely apologize", she said in an Instagram video. "I went too far", she stated.

Kathy Griffin has lost a decade-long gig ringing in the new year for CNN as a backlash builds over her video displaying a likeness of President Donald Trump's severed head. "But I've taken up golf anyway".

"Anderson [Cooper] is beyond okay with CNN's decision to fire Kathy Griffin", a source close to the journalist told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Trump responded as well.

Trump waives law requiring US move its embassy to Jerusalem
Despite that, most experts are skeptical of Trump's chances for achieving a peace deal that eluded other United States presidents. The long-standing USA position is that Jerusalem's fate must be worked out through Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump responded to the image on Wednesday, with the president calling the photograph "sick" and adding that Griffin "should be ashamed of herself". My children, especially my 11-year-old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. However, I was never much of a fan of hers anyhow.

In a statement sent to Fox News, Squatty Potty CEO Bobby Edwards said: "We were shocked and disappointed to learn about the image Ms. Griffin shared today, it was deeply inappropriate and runs contrary to the core values our company stands for". Mitt Romney sent this out: "Our politics have become too base Griffin's post descends into an even more repugnant and vile territory".

In that speech, he made another controversial remark that suggested violence toward Obama: "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year".

And to this mother of daughters, his agreement with Howard Stern that Ivanka was a good-looking "piece of a-" was as disgusting as Kathy Griffin's "joke". They just continuously blur the boundaries of good taste.

Dave Berg, author of Behind the Curtain: An Insider's View of Jay Leno's Tonight Show, co-produced the show for 18 years.
