Computex 2017: AMD Demos Ryzen Mobile SoC with Vega Graphics

This years AMD's stock price have been climbing rapidly after successfully releasing its ryzen cpu but AMD's stock prices have tumbled after announcing poor earnings and after misleading people on contract with intel.

"We really believe we're bringing a new class of performance to the eco-system", said AMD CEO Lisa Su in the presentation at Computex today.

If mobile Ryzen performs as expected, ASUS will be responsible in part for catapulting AMD back into the mobile gaming spotlight with designs like the ROG Strix GL702ZC.

ASUS was showing off its GL702ZC laptop which features a Ryzen 7 1700 8-core CPU and RX 580 GPU, in addition to a Freesync 2.0 display. "Now it's a little bit bigger than the mobile version you'll notice, but a lot more compute power", AMD's Jim Anderson quipped.

Following the recent launches of seven AMD Ryzen desktop processors, including AMD Ryzen™ 7 and AMD Ryzen™ 5, created to bring innovation and competition back to the full spectrum of premium PC markets, AMD outlined continued momentum for Ryzen. Ryzen Mobile was also held up for everyone to see and used in a 2-in-1 convertible laptop.

It appears that AMD has led us all down the garden path with its new Vega graphics card that the company first announced more than a year ago.

Palestinians, Israel police clash at Jerusalem Old City gate
Right-wingers said they were at least relieved that Trump made no mention of the two-state solution, which they strongly oppose . The status of Jerusalem, which both the Israelis and Palestinians claim as their capital is a major complication to a solution.

The Threadripper 16-core and 32-thread CPU was demod briefly, paired with two Radeon RX Vega GPUs running Prey at 4K.

The event started off with warm handshakes and a love for PC gaming, with a number of announcements from AMD's partners regarding upcoming product releases centered around the Ryzen launch and RX 580 graphics. Ryzen Threadripper will feature 16-cores and 32-threads and it will utilize the new X399 platform and LGA socket. "Our Lenovo IdeaCentre desktops with the latest AMD Ryzen processor give users outstanding multitasking capabilities, alongside the high performance they need for next-gen personalized computing experiences, such as VR and high-quality streaming". Previously codenamed "Naples", the first EPYC processor-based servers are scheduled to launch June 20.

The launch chipset for ThreadRipper will be the X399 chipset (ed: at this point AMD and Intel are literally trying to one-up each other).

Last were the announcements of Ryzen CPUs and RX 500 GPUs being integrated into the mobile platform of laptops and notebooks.

AMD will launch the Frontier Edition intended for professional usage in the coming weeks.
