Injustice 2 launches on iOS and Android

With Injustice 2 ever so close to launch, DC Entertainment has released a minute-long official gameplay launch trailer for the game. The game's new Gear System aims to bring a touch of the intoxicating quest for loot to the fighting game table, though we'll have to see just how effective it is.

With players set to begin slugging their friends this time tomorrow, Warner Bros.

Featuring a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains, Injustice 2 will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 16, 2017.

There will be 29 fighters in the base game, and nine more that will be coming as DLC. Every battle defines you in a game where players personalize iconic DC characters with unique and powerful gear earned throughout the game.

Comic fans and gamers alike are ready and willing to jump feet-first into the DC Comics-centric fray that is Injustice 2.

For now though, let's see what the rest of games media thinks of Injustice 2.

You can see multiple big (and not so big) name DC stars duking it out in Injustice, which tells the story of a dystopian future ruled by a Superman gone tyrant, and Batman's attempts to throw him off.

The new trailer is focused on Brainiac, or so it appears at the start of the trailer. You can view it above.
