The stream will be aired from the London IMAX and it's the first chance fans will be able to check out the latest COD. Through this WWII is attempting to mirror real soldier progression within a unit, with new gear being unlocked according to your Division as you play. Players will engage in combat across three robust game modes: "Campaign, Multiplayer, and Co-Operative", the press release explains.

It appears as though the auto-regeneration of a player's health in Call of Duty is being thrown out the window for a much more classic approach, get shot and stay hurt til you find a health pack.

While there have been leaks about numerous new game's features, details from the game's developers have been few. Call of Duty: WWII's co-op mode will be the next entry in the series' popular "Zombies" spin-offs, and will chronicle the Third Reich's last-ditch efforts to create supersoldiers as Allied forces close in.

The game's release date, setting, and (some) multiplayer details were revealed during the game's unveiling from London, confirming weeks of leaks regarding the game's setting and title.

"Call of Duty" has been the top-selling PC and console game in the United States for the past seven years. Not only that. The leak also indicated other details of the game, including a private beta and story description of some sort. The game is expected to be an authentic World War II shooter featuring historical battles and iconic locations. But thankfully that was more than enough to impress, with what is easily the best-looking Call Of Duty so far.

The main focus of the livestream though, was the game's story campaign, with Activision and Sledgehammer eager to show how Call of Duty: WW2 is a world away from the ill-received space battles of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

Developers had little to say about the "Nazi Zombies" beyond the image, but Sivret said more reveals on that content, as well as multiplayer functionality, will help game-buyers decide whether to continue with, rejoin or separate from the franchise. The materials also show that those who pre-order the game will have access to the game's private beta.
